Parent's Guide to Many Questions

How do I Register for Classes?

You can register online, over the phone, or in person.

The easiest and most accurate way is to register online (from a computer or phone!).  Under the Parent Portal tab, click Sign Up/Register (it will guide you from there).  It is pretty painless and you can skip the line.  The registration is instant, payment is easy, and your place in the class is locked in.

You can also register over the phone, but you will need to sign the waiver and pay at the front desk.

Finally you can do it all at the front desk.  There are registration and waiver forms at the front desk that will have to be filled in and payment rendered.

When is payment due?

If registering online, the payment is required at the time of registration.  If you registered over the phone or in person, payment is due before the student's first class.  Thereafter, payment is due before the start of each 8-week session.  Charges will be posted to all accounts 2 weeks before they are due.  If you are taking a break from classes you must enter it in your account or email us so we can do it for you!  Payments may be made with cash, card, check, or even autopay online.  Any account that is delinquent will result in the student not being allowed to participate in classes until payment is made.

There is a returned check charge of $20 if returned for Insufficient Funds.

Can I get a refund?

We do have a new student satisfaction guarantee.  If you are dissatisfied within first 4 weeks of class, we will refund your payment.  No refund will be issued after this.

Can I watch?

We welcome and expect parents to observe classes in our viewing areas.

Can classes be made up?

Because of our strict student to teacher ratio,  only 2 missed classes can be made up.  Please register online when you plan to be absent.  This opens up the class to others that might need to redeem a Make-Up Token in your students place.  Class Make-Up Tokens are granted through our Parent Portal when you register your absence or it is recorded by our staff.  The tokens can only be redeemed by actively enrolled members of Kokomotion.  Make-Ups must be scheduled in the same level of class and where there are openings (and within 60 days of the Token being given).  Missed classes will not result in prorated tuition or refunds.

What should my child wear?

Boys or Girls may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts OR Leotards for Girls. Team Trainees and Team students must wear a leotard (biker shorts are allowed).

NO chewing gum, rings, necklaces or dangling earrings. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. All students should be barefoot or have activity-appropriate footwear (beam or cheer shoes) during class. Personal items should be left in cubby holes. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. This facility's staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student's personal items are marked with their name.
