Tumbling for All

Class 1 - Beginning Tumbling

This 55 minute introductory class.  This class begins with a coordination-based warm up and followed by a basic stretch.  All students will learn the foundational skills of Tumbling.  They will concentrate on Basic Rolls, Cartwheels, Handstands, Basic Shape Jumps, as well as Drills and Shaping for Back Handsprings. 

This is where it all begins!

Class 3 - Advanced Tumbling

This 55 minute class is for students that have tested out of Class 2 - Intermediate Tumbling.  This class refines what was taught in Intermediate Tumbling and trains advanced skills.  They will train Roundoff Back Handsprings, and advance flexibility skills like Back Walkovers & Limbers.

Class 2 - Intermediate Tumbling

This 55 minute class is for students that have tested out of Class 1 - Beginning Tumbling.  This class begins with a coordination-based warm up and followed by a advanced stretch.  This class refines what was taught in Beginning Tumbling and begins the training for more advanced skills.  They will learn more advanced skills like Roundoffs, Standing Back Handsprings (downhill), Cheer Specific Jumps, and flexibility skills like Bridge Kickovers.

This is where you start to flip!

This class is suggested for cheerleaders and anyone that just wants to tumble. This program is a non-competitive program for all genders 6 and older.

 

Kokomotion's Tumbling Program is a focused primarily on Backward Tumbling.  Our progressive step-by-step approach to gymnastics creates a safety-first attitude in our coaches and staff.  This class is challenging and fun, pushing the envelope of skill development and mastery.  This class is a specialization and is suggested for those that are sure they do not wish to pursue gymnastics as a sport and want to just tumble.

Class 4 - Salto Tumbling

This 55 minute class is for students that have tested out of Class 3 - Advanced Tumbling.  This class refines what was taught in Advanced Tumbling and trains advanced skills.  They will advance combination skills like Roundoff Back Handsprings, and train Back Tucks through Fulls, Aerials, and Front Tumbling.
